| No Clean Flux: Solder flux with a low solids residue that does not need to be cleaned from the circuit board following soldering. |
| No Clean Soldering: Soldering process that uses specially formulated solder paste that does not require cleaning after soldering. |
| Node: A pin or lead to which at least two components are connected through conductors. |
| Non-Wetting: Condition in which contact is made with molten solder, but none or only part of the solder adheres. Usually due to a contamination on the surface to be soldered and is recognized by the visibility of the bare base metal. |
